Exercise Your Faith to Build Spiritual Muscle

Exercising faith is a spiritual muscle.
Just as we physically exercise to get stronger, we must discipline our minds in God’s Word.
Then, we will become tougher and strengthened inwardly.

Don’t beat yourself up for not being stronger.
Instead, trust HIS WORD to build this needed spiritual muscle within you.
It is then you begin to realize that His Word is true above all others.

His Word supersedes circumstances, and His Word triumphs over the reports of man.

Let’s say for instance, you have heard the report that your mind is weakening or depressed. Get out God’s Word and begin, in faith, declaring it over your mind and circumstances.

A good example is that of my mom. She is 92 and deals with mental clarity. When she first came to live with us, we began speaking together this simple and yet powerfully profound scripture to the point that she can speak it still with me.

2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

We say, "I lay claim to God’s power, love, and a sound mind in Christ Jesus." And I often remind her she does not need to fear.

Friends, all I know is there is POWER, ABSOLUTE POWER in His WORD.

It’s yours for the asking.

Seek Him! Choose Faith in the Only One who can and will inexplicably change your circumstances.

Faith is a muscle in our mind and in our spirit. Again, trust His Word to build strength and healing within you as you begin to realize that His Word is true above all others.

Joshua 24:24
“And the people said unto Joshua, 'The Lord our God will we serve, and His voice will we obey.'”
